What factors are related to the radios communication distance?

1. Related to the surrounding environment. Generally, the communication distance is the longest in the open plains, and the urban complex conditions   (such as dense buildings, power cable facilities) are closer; the urban complex buildings and underground garages are the closest.

2. The UHF band has higher frequency and stronger penetration, and the transmission distance is usually farther.

3. The transmitting power is higher, the penetrating power is stronger, and the transmission distance is usually farther.

4. Antenna reception is related to sensitivity. The longer the antenna, the higher the receiving sensitivity.

*To solve the communication distance in larger area or more complex environment, the signal coverage can be solved by building a repeater.
